About Me
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease at the age of two, and have been faced with the challenge of maintaining a gluten free diet since. I'm passionate about helping others maintain a healthy diet that meets specific needs, while not giving up the enjoyment of eating delicious food. My own personal experience, as well as a certificate in Chef Training, and Food and Nutrition Management from George Brown College provide me with a wealth of knowledge about cooking for special diets, menu planning, and clinical nutrition. I'm a registered member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management. I also have a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Guelph in Child Youth and Family Studies focusing on healthy child, and youth development.
